Services We Offer

We offer individual counselling for up to 160 clients on a weekly basis. This is our main service and we are open for counselling from 8.00am to 9.00pm Monday to Friday or on Saturday morning. We are a self referral service which means that we only take bookings from the person who is seeking counselling. We ask for a referral letter from the community mental health teams for those currently being supported by secondary care services.

For anyone seeking counselling in a language other than English, we do have some counsellors who speak a variety of east and west European languages, including Polish. Contact the office for current availability.

In addition to one to one counselling, we also provide a small psychosexual/relationship counselling service to couples. Individuals experiencing sexual difficulties can also refer themselves to this service.

We work with adults only (defined as 18 + years).

Accessibility Limitations

We are committed to ensuring our services are available to all who can benefit from this type of work and will always endeavour to address barriers to accessing services (e.g. disability, language barriers) and seek to help reduce stigma around mental health for some minority groups. We have an equal opportunities monitoring strategy in place to review whether certain groups are under-represented.

We regularly engage in local mental health / talking therapy forums and in collaboration with other service providers, we give feedback to those who commission services in our area regarding gaps in mental health service provision. We also maintain good links with other services which specialise in a particular area of need, so that we are able to signpost to these agencies where we believe that a service userís needs would be better met.

If any of our service users or EACS members wish to feed back to us an area of need which they believe is not being met in Ealing and the surrounding area, we welcome feedback or suggestions, which we can take to the larger forums. There are feedback forms in the waiting area for EACS clients and in the kitchen for EACS members.
