MANAGING YOUR ANGER - A Group for Men

EACS is running a 4 session course for men starting Friday 20th September 2013. 

Feeling angry is normal.  However, anger is a problem if it causes you to:

Lose your temper quickly
Often feel frustrated and annoyed by everyday life
Become verbally or physically violent, or feel very aggressive
Feel out of control

In a group of men with similar issues, this course aims to help you understand your angry thoughts and feelings, learn to notice and manage your anger and to control aggressive and/or violent behaviours.

Specifically the course will help you learn to:

Understand how anger affects you personally
Acknowledge the impact your anger has on others
Recognise what makes you angry
Manage, understand and control your anger
Use techniques for relaxation
Find new ways to respond
Take responsiblity for yourself
Understand the roots of your anger.

Group Facilitators:

The course is run by Jon McAteer and Stuart Baker, UKCP Registered Psychotherapists.

Course Fee:

The course fee is 100 (reduced price for unemployed men - please enquire).

Saturday 1st February 2014 from 10.00am to 4.30pm
Monday 10th February 2014 from 7.00pm to 9.30pm
Monday 24th February 2014 from 7.00pm to 9.30pm
Monday 3rd March 2014 from 7.00pm to 9.30pm
